Once your baby arrives, your focus will naturally shift towards enjoying their presence. However, before that magical moment, let's take the time to celebrate you and the beautiful journey of bringing your little one into the world.
As a maternity photographer, my role is to capture the radiant glow, anticipation, and joy that comes with this special time. Whether you've been eagerly awaiting this moment for nine months or even longer, I aim to create photographs that showcase the beauty and emotions of your maternity experience.
Maternity photography sessions are typically scheduled between 30-35 weeks of pregnancy when your baby bump is prominent, and you're still comfortable enough to enjoy the session. The session can be focused solely on the mama-to-be or include your spouse and/or other children, capturing the essence of your growing family.
I offer three types of maternity experiences: sunset, studio, and lifestyle. Each option provides a unique setting and style to suit your preferences and create memorable images that reflect your journey towards motherhood.
Studio sessions are ideal for mothers who prefer a clean and simple aesthetic in their maternity photos. These sessions typically take place in a controlled studio environment, allowing the focus to be on the beauty of the mom-to-be and her baby bump.
Sunset sessions provide a wonderful opportunity to incorporate stunning natural scenery into your maternity photos. The golden hour light during sunset creates a magical atmosphere, enhancing the beauty of your surroundings and adding a touch of romance to your images.
Lifestyle sessions, on the other hand, have a documentary-style approach. They capture authentic moments and interactions between you, your partner, your family, and even your pets. These sessions are laid-back and focus on capturing genuine emotions and connections, providing a candid and heartfelt representation of this special time in your life.
If you're unsure about what to wear for your maternity session, you have the option to either bring your own wardrobe or choose from my collection of maternity dresses available in my growing client closet. This ensures that you have a variety of stylish and comfortable options to choose from.
For an extra touch of pampering and to feel like the radiant goddess that you are, you can also book a hair and makeup artist for your session. They will help enhance your natural beauty and make you feel even more confident and glamorous during your maternity photoshoot.

As a mama to be (or a busy mom already), nothing takes away from the maternity photo experience like a tight timeline. I recommend reaching out early into your second trimester, so we have an abundance of time to plan and dream the perfect session for you. It might not feel like it now, but your time being pregnant will fly by!
You can expect your images back within 1-2 weeks after your session. I carefully choose the best images and edit with lots of love to make sure there is consistency throughout your entire gallery.
I recommend to stick with neutral, earthy tones as they never go out of style. They also go best with my editing and photography style. Once you book, you will receive a client portal with tons of information on what to wear, as well as guidance from me, with one on one calls. I also want to take as much stress as I can off of you, so I have a growing client closet of items for you to choose from for your session.
I do and want to travel more outside of the state! There is a travel fee involved, but if you need me to travel to you, I am more than happy to do so.
A nonrefundable session fee of $300 is required to hold your session date and time as well as a signed contract. The remainder of the collection fee is due the day of the session.
