The Fine print
how far in advance should I book?
I always recommend reaching out early if you have a specific date or time of year in mind. Fall sessions typically begin booking in August, while January–April sessions usually start filling in around September. That said, it’s always worth reaching out, even if you’re planning a little later, dates can shift, and openings do come up. Planning ahead simply gives you the best chance of getting the date that works best for your family.
what happens if my kids don't behave?
I know this is a real stressor, and it’s one worth addressing. Let’s be honest, your little ones may not always do exactly what we planned, and that’s okay. We’ll prepare for your session together, set expectations, and when the day arrives, we’ll simply commit to going with the flow.
Staying present allows you to move with whatever your little ones bring our way, rather than worrying about what “should” be happening. With my gentle guidance, we’ll embrace the real moments, roll with the unexpected, and create gorgeous photographs along the way, no matter what happens.
where do sessions take place?
One of the best parts of working with me is that your session doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. We can capture your family in the comfort of your own home, keep things clean and simple in my in-home studio, or head out to one of the many gorgeous locations I love throughout the Coachella Valley.
Your location should feel like part of your story, not just a pretty backdrop. Once you’re booked, I’ll send you a curated list of locations that fit the feel of your session, your family, and the kind of images you’re dreaming of creating together.
how long until we get our photos?
Depending on the season and my schedule, your images will be delivered within 2–3 weeks. I’ve been on the other side of the waiting game, and I know just how much anticipation comes with seeing your photos for the first time. Honestly, it can feel a little like waiting for Christmas morning.
That’s why a quick turnaround is important to me. I want you to be able to relive the laughter, the little moments, and everything that made your session special while it still feels fresh.
