The saying "The days are long, but the years are short" resonates deeply with many parents. It serves as a poignant reminder to cherish every moment with our families because time passes by quicker than we often realize. This sentiment is why family photography holds a special place in my heart – it's about capturing those fleeting moments, freezing frames filled with love and laughter that we can cherish forever.
I offer three distinct types of family sessions: sunset, studio, and lifestyle. Whether you prefer the clean, classic look of studio portraits, the warm, golden hues of sunset sessions, or the intimate, candid feel of lifestyle shoots at home, there's an option that suits your style. Additionally, I provide a client closet stocked with outfit choices to ensure you look and feel your best without any hassle.
My mission is simple: to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience during your family photo session, allowing your genuine personalities and connections to shine through in every photograph. The most important thing to think about when scheduling a family session is sleeping schedules. In the summer, the sun sets much later at 6 or 7, so sunset sessions might not be a great choice for families with younger children. In the fall, sunset is at 4pm, so some schedule changes might have to be made to accommodate. Studio sessions can be scheduled at any time of the day due to the artificial lighting. Lifestyle sessions are usually shot in the morning, depending on lighting in your home, and are scheduled around nap's.
You can expect your images back within 1-2 weeks after your session. I carefully choose the best images and edit with lots of love to make sure there is consistency throughout your entire gallery.
I recommend to stick with neutral, earthy tones as they never go out of style. They also go best with my editing and photography style. Once you book, you will receive a client portal with tons of information on what to wear, as well as guidance from me, with one on one calls. I also want to take as much stress as I can off of you, so I have a growing client closet of items for you to choose from for your session.
I do and want to travel more outside of the state! There is a travel fee involved, but if you need me to travel to you, I am more than happy to do so.
A nonrefundable session fee of $300 is required to hold your session date and time as well as a signed contract. The remainder of the collection fee is due the day of the session.
