Ok, father of the year should go to this dad! The detail, time and energy that was put into this Monsters Inc. birthday party was absolutely insane! My jaw dropped to the floor when I walked in this house. From the Monsters, Inc signage on the outside of the home, to the tiny little doors hanging from the ceiling, to the hand sewn Sulley costume…it was awe-inspiring!
I can’t even pin point one part of this party as my favorite. At first, I thought it was watching the expressions on the guests faces as they entered the party. Then, I thought it was the contaminated sock game. All the kids were ushered out onto the lawn by a blaring siren, where they found two dozen contaminated socks. Their objective was to gather all the socks in order to regain safety at Monsters, Inc. Little did they know, Lawson’s grandmother had the last sock attached to her sweater the entire party.
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, the birthday girl heard a door bell, and when she went to the very large door from Boo’s room, a life-size Sulley popped out with her birthday present. It was pretty amazing.
I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!
